The Protestant Evangelical Church of the Pompignane has a rich history with anglophones and anglophiles. From the very beginning of the church until today anglophones have played a significant role in bringing the church to where it is.
The church began in the early 90’s with a small building in an area of town called the Pompignane (hence our name). It steadily continued to grow, creating a serious need for a larger building. In 2008 the Lord provided by allowing us to share a building with our friends The Seventh Day Adventists.
Put simply the goal of our church is to worship and glorify God together. We have regular childrens’ ministries for children up to 13 years. Our youth ministry, led by Jean-Crépin M’balla, is focused on youth between the ages of 8 and 20. The rest of the church is made up of university students, young professionals, parents, grand parents and great grand parents.
Each Sunday we translate the service into English for a group which varies between 3 to 15 English speakers from any number of different countries.
We would love to have you join us. We meet here from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm every sunday and translation takes place on the balcony..
